About Us

Backbone Connectivity Network Nigeria Limited (BCN) was incorporated in 2004 as a private limited liability company. Its objective is to be a neutral, wholesale telecommunications operator that enables other operators and enterprises by providing high quality, secure, high bandwidth connectivity for their own internal networks, interconnection with other operator networks and broadband access to their end users.It is focused on providing broadband access, backbone and other connectivity services to national operators, local and long distance telephony providers, data communications providers, private telecommunications operators, Internet service providers and cable and other video service providers.
Licenses and Related Provisions
BCN secured 2 licenses from the Nigeria Communications commision (NCC) in 2004 to provide backhaul and other high capacity transmission services, deploy and operate:

• National Long Distance Network
• Metropolotan Fiber Network

BCN secured "Rights of Ways" in the Federal Capital where telecommunictions ducts were laid out as part of the completed infrastructure in the territory.
